Richard Clayton is Chief Correspondent at Lloyd's List. Among other areas, he writes about human element, digitalisation, and ship management. He joined Lloyd's List from Fairplay, where he edited the weekly magazine and the daily news bulletins. Richard has chaired conferences, moderated webinars and round table discussions, delivered thought-leadership podcasts, and penned insightful opinion pieces. He is the son and grandson of shipbrokers.
Clare Pike has been a Human Resources professional for more than 25 years. After a decade at the courier delivery business TNT, rising to HR director for the International Business Unit, Clare moved to McCormick, an American food manufacturer and distributer, where she was HR director for the EMEA consumer business. She joined Bureau Veritas, the Paris-headquartered classification society (transitioning into a TIC – testing, inspection, and certification services – business), in September 2015 as HR director for Northwest Europe region, being promoted to Vice President for Human Resources and CSR at BV Marine & Offshore since 2017. She is excited to be working with an inter-generational mix of senior maritime leaders and graduates from outside maritime bringing skills and capabilities the industry will need going forward.

Before taking over the reins as Chief Human Resources Officer at Maersk Tankers, Annelise worked with major international companies, both in senior HR leadership roles within pharma and the financial sector, and as a leadership expert within advisory services. Annelise has become a dedicated specialist in leadership, talent, and diversity – always with an eye on the potential people bring. She is driven by the ambition and belief that we can always be better and is convinced that great HR makes a great impact on business. She holds a Master in Social Policy from University of Pennsylvania, USA and Master in Psychology from Aarhus University, Denmark.
Raal Harris stepped up from Group Creative Director to Chief Creative Officer at OTG in November 2021. OTG provides maritime professionals with digital learning, assessment, maritime HR, and fleet management solutions. Raal leads brand development, marketing and communications for learning and assessment, fleet management, and crew management. His career has focused on online learning and training, even as a lecturer at the University of Westminster, where he was involved in designing multimedia information systems. This led to a position as head of multimedia at Videotel, the training provider, and Director of e-Learning and Digital media at Videotel Marine International. He spent two years at KVH Industries as Creative Content Director, before returning to Videotel as Managing Director, leading the company’s merger with Ocean Technologies Group in 2019.
